Amazing - well done Maggie - but I wonder if the 'experts' will be as pleased. Didn't they say she wouldn't be able to do things like this? Good to see her proving them wrong.
My favourite doctor comment ever was that my daughter must#ve had a good brain to start with, to do so well with what was left.
Strange and unpredictable things, brains. The American woman shot in the head is doing well, it seems. MRIs don't tell you how she will do - she will. And bring delight every time.
Well done to Maggie......I wish I had a reason to put a hairbrush to my head.....Many moons ago maybe!!......And while we're on the subject, any chance she could show Amy how to do it? The scruffy little get!!! Love to you all, hope to see you soon. Lee. x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x x
Ahh Maggie well done! A girl has to look after her hair! That is so good to hear I have a big smile on my face now! xxx Caroline, Chris and James. We're back from holiday now so would be lovely to see you anytime soon xxx
Wow that is really awonderful accomplishment! My son is very delayed with some undiagnosed health issues anyway I have been waiting for that kind of understanding of a use of an object for some time now. I know from your blog things are tremendously difficult for you now but I hope this small but huge accomplishment brought you some hope as well as the joy I can imagine you felt Andrea
This blog is about our twin girls, Maggie and Alice, who were born prematurely in October 2009. Alice is fine. Maggie, through complications during labour, is very severely disabled. This blog helps us to keep in touch with all those people out there who we couldn't possibly keep in touch with on an individual basis. It also just helps us. Please feel free to comment and/or email (address available in 'View My Complete Profile' below).
well done Maggie!! What a girlie girl you are, making this a priority!
